IPL 2026: Gujarat Titans swapped their traditional blue-and-gold jersey for a special lavender kit in Match 56 of the Indian Premier League 2026 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, as part of their annual campaign to raise awareness about cancer.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Gujarat Titans have worn lavender jerseys in the IPL to show solidarity with cancer patients, survivors and their families. The initiative, which began in 2023, uses lavender — the universal colour associated with support for all forms of cancer — to spread awareness and encourage conversations around the disease.

The Titans first wore the lavender kit during IPL 2023 in a memorable win over SRH, a match in which Gill scored his maiden IPL century.

Ahead of the match, GT also shared awareness messages and campaign videos on their social media platforms.

GT entered the contest against SRH after winning four matches in a row following an inconsistent start to the season. A victory over the Hyderabad-based franchise would take Shubman Gill’s side to the top of the IPL 2026 points table.

Toss Result

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bowl first against Gujarat Titans.
