India National Cricket Team vs Namibia National Cricket Team Match Scorecard: India opener Ishan Kishan smashed a 20-ball half-century in the Group A match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 against Namibia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Thursday, February 12, 2026. The left-hander reached his fifty with four successive sixes and a boundary and went on to score 61 off 24 balls, including six fours and five sixes, before falling in the eighth over.

It was Kishan’s first significant contribution of the tournament after a modest outing against the United States in the opening match. He became the fifth Indian batter to score a fifty inside the powerplay at a T20 World Cup, after Abhishek Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma.

Kishan also recorded the joint fourth-fastest fifty by an Indian at a T20 World Cup. Only Yuvraj Singh (12 balls in 2007), KL Rahul (18 balls in 2021) and Rohit Sharma (19 balls in 2024) have reached the landmark quicker.

His assault helped India post 86 for 1 in the first six overs, its highest powerplay total in T20 World Cup history. India’s previous best was 82 for 2 against Scotland in 2021.
