Bollywood actor Athiya Shetty and Indian cricketer KL Rahul have welcomed a baby girl. The couple, who married in January 2023, shared the joyous news on social media.

The announcement came through a heartfelt Instagram post. “Blessed with a baby girl. 24.03.2025. Athiya and Rahul,” the couple wrote. Fans and well-wishers have flooded their social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating the arrival of their daughter.

Athiya and KL Rahul revealed their pregnancy in November 2024 with a joint post on Instagram. “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025,” they shared at the time.
Rahul, currently part of the Delhi Capitals squad for the ongoing Indian Premier League, missed the team’s opening clash against Lucknow Super Giants in Vizag due to the birth of his daughter. He is expected to rejoin the team for their next game.
The star batter joined Delhi Capitals after being acquired for ₹14 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction. He was released by his former franchise, Lucknow Super Giants, following the 2024 season.
Rahul has been in fine form, playing crucial innings for India during their victorious 2025 Champions Trophy campaign in Dubai. As Delhi Capitals aim for their maiden IPL title, the team will hope Rahul brings his recent form to the tournament.
