India National Cricket Team vs England Cricket Team: Former India captains MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma were spotted together at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, March 5, 2026, during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 second semifinal between India and Englan. Dhoni, who rarely attends matches, had been in Mumbai earlier for the wedding of Arjun Tendulkar. Later in the innings,  Rohit Sharma went over to greet Dhoni and Sakshi, sharing a warm embrace and brief conversation.

Rohit, the winning captain of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 and an ambassador for the tournament, has attended several matches in the ongoing competition.

On the field, India produced a strong performance, finishing with 253 for seven in 20 overs and setting England a challenging target.

The innings was built on the foundation laid by Sanju Samson, who scored 89, before contributions from Ishan Kishan, Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma helped India finish strongly.
