Bangladesh National Cricket Team vs Pakistan National Cricket Team Match Scorecard: Fast bowler Nahid Rana claimed his maiden five-wicket haul to power Bangladesh to a dominant bowling performance as Pakistan were bowled out for 114 in the first One-Day International of the three-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

After Bangladesh captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz won the toss and chose to field, the hosts struck early and never allowed Pakistan to recover. Rana returned figures of 5 for 24, ripping through the middle order with a fiery spell that triggered a dramatic collapse.

Pakistan began steadily with a 41-run opening partnership between debutants Sahibzada Farhan and Maaz Sadaqat. Rana broke the stand at the end of the powerplay when Farhan was caught by Afif Hossain at point after scoring 27.

Rana continued to trouble Pakistan’s batters, dismissing Shamyl Hussain for four before removing Mohammad Rizwan (10) and Salman Ali Agha (5) to complete his maiden five-wicket haul in ODIs. He became only the second Bangladesh bowler to take a five-wicket haul against Pakistan in the format after Mustafizur Rahman achieved the feat during the 2019 World Cup.

Miraz supported Rana with 3 for 29, removing Abdul Samad, Hussain Talat and Shaheen Shah Afridi as Pakistan slumped to 82 for 9. Taskin Ahmed also picked up a wicket when he dismissed Mohammad Wasim Jr for a duck. Pakistan avoided an even lower total thanks to Faheem Ashraf, who scored 37 off 47 balls before Mustafizur dismissed him in the 31st over to end the innings.

 Scorecard

  • Pakistan: 114 all out (30.1 overs), Faheem Ashraf 37 (47), Sahibzada Farhan 27 (38), Maaz Sadaqat 18 (28)

  • Bangladesh: Nahid Rana 5/24, Mehidy Hasan Miraz 3/29
