Pakistan national cricket team will begin a three-match ODI series against the Bangladesh national cricket team from March 11 as both teams shift focus to preparations for next year’s ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2027. The opening match is scheduled to begin at 1:45 p.m. IST in Dhaka. It will be Bangladesh’s first appearance since the team’s exclusion from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Pakistan also enter the series looking to regroup after another disappointing global campaign. The team reached the Super 8 stage at the T20 World Cup but failed to qualify for the semifinals.

One of the biggest talking points ahead of the tour is the absence of former captain Babar Azam, who has not been included in the ODI squad.  Pakistan will be led by fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, while Bangladesh will be captained by all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

All three matches of the series will be played at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
