Pakistan National Cricket Team vs Australian Men’s Cricket Team Match: Pakistan announced their 16-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia, on Friday, January 23, 2026. The series will serve as preparation ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Experienced duo Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi return to the T20I setup after missing Pakistan’s recent series in Sri Lanka.
The selection has surprised fans as star pacer Haris Rauf and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan were left out. Other notable inclusions are Saim Ayub and Shadab Khan, who returns after a six-month absence.

The series, scheduled from January 29 to February 1, will be the last opportunity for both sides to fine-tune their squads ahead of the T20 World Cup,
Pakistan and Australia, both former T20 World Cup champions, will play three matches ahead of the tournament in India and Sri Lanka. Pakistan are in Group A with India, USA, Namibia and the Netherlands, while Australia are in Group B alongside Sri Lanka, Ireland, Oman and Zimbabwe.
