Archer bowled a back-of-a-length delivery on middle stump that swung away just enough to deceive Arya. The batter attempted to defend but got squared up, missing the ball as it clipped the top of the off-stump, leaving Arya with no chance.
Shreyas Iyer, who came in at number three, looked to counterattack by hitting two quick boundaries off Archer. However, the Rajasthan pacer responded with a brilliant delivery to remove the Punjab Kings captain. Archer bowled a full delivery on the stumps, and Iyer, backing away, attempted a slog. The batter missed the ball entirely, which hit the stumps, sending Iyer back for 10 runs. Archer celebrated passionately after taking Iyer's wicket, running to his left in sheer excitement.
