Team India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star Virat Kohli made a heartwarming gesture towards a member of the Karnataka wheelchair cricket team during the RCB Unbox event on Monday, March 17 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Pictures of the moment surfaced on social media, showing Kohli giving his autograph and taking a selfie with one of the players. The cricketer was surrounded by security and police while interacting with the players. Kohli wore the new RCB jersey for the upcoming IPL 2025 season during the event.
The RCB Unbox event is a pre-season celebration held by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the IPL season. This year's event featured several performances, with players taking part in training and skill challenges before a packed crowd at Chinnaswamy Stadium.
RCB will begin their IPL 2025 campaign against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 22. Despite reaching the final three times, RCB is yet to win an IPL title.
