Pakistan national cricket team opener Sahibzada Farhan continued his fine form in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 with a second century of the tournament during a crucial Super 8 clash against Sri Lanka national cricket team at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

The 29-year-old reached his hundred off 59 balls, bringing up the milestone with a single to long-off against Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka. His innings included 9 fours and 5 sixes. With that knock, he became only the second Pakistan batter to score a century in a men’s T20 World Cup match.

Earlier in the tournament, Farhan had scored an unbeaten 100 off 58 balls against Namibia in a league match at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo. Earlier in the day, Farhan also became the highest run-scorer in a single edition of a men’s T20 World Cup, going past the previous record held by India’s Virat Kohli.
