South Africa Women’s National Cricket Team vs Pakistan Women’s National Cricket Team Match: South Africa have announced their squads for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against Pakistan. Laura Wolvaardt, the ICC’s top-ranked Women’s ODI batter, will continue as captain. Twenty-year-old Kayla Reyneke has earned her maiden national call-up and has been included in the T20I squad. Experienced all-rounders Chloé Tryon, Nadine de Klerk and Marizanne Kapp return after their stints in the Women’s Premier League. Regular squad members Dané van Niekerk, Suné Luus, Ayabonga Khaka and Masabata Klaas have also been named.
Sinalo Jafta and Karabo Meso will share wicketkeeping duties, while spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba and all-rounder Annerie Dercksen are also part of the T20I squad. Tazmin Brits and Ayanda Hlubi return after missing the Ireland series.
For the ODI squad, Lara Goodall, Faye Tunnicliffe, Nondumiso Shangase and Tumi Sekhukhune have been included. They replace Khaka, Klaas, Reyneke and van Niekerk from the T20I group.The ODI series will mark the start of South Africa’s ICC Women’s Championship cycle, which serves as the qualification pathway for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2029.
The three-match T20I series forms part of South Africa’s preparation for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, to be held in England and Wales.

South Africa will play a limited-overs series against Pakistan from February 10 to March 1. The three-match T20I series will be held on February 10 in Potchefstroom, February 13 in Benoni, and February 16 in Kimberley. The three-match ODI series will follow, with games scheduled on February 22 in Bloemfontein, February 25 in Centurion, and March 1 in Durban.
