Pakistan National Cricket Team vs England Cricket Team: Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha and his family have become targets of online abuse following Pakistan’s defeat to England in the ICC T20 World Cup Super 8 stage. Frustration among fans boiled over after Pakistan suffered consecutive losses to India in the group stage and to England in a crucial Super 8 match. While criticism of on-field tactics intensified, some supporters crossed the line by directing abusive messages toward the captain’s wife and child.

Sabbamanzer Salman, a barrister and the wife of Salman Ali Agha, addressed the issue in an Instagram story posted early Tuesday. “Sending me or my innocent son abuse is not going to win you the World Cup, Pakistani fans,” she wrote. Her statement quickly gained attention on social media, where many users condemned the harassment and called for action against those responsible.

With just one point — earned after a rain-affected match against New Zealand — Pakistan must now defeat Sri Lanka in their final Super 8 fixture to stay in contention. Even with a win, Pakistan will need favorable results elsewhere. They require both Sri Lanka and England to defeat New Zealand to qualify directly. If New Zealand beats Sri Lanka, Pakistan’s hopes would depend on England defeating New Zealand and a superior net run rate deciding the final semifinal spot.
