India National Cricket Team vs Netherlands National Cricket Team Standings: Pakistan sealed their place in the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 with a crushing 102-run win over Namibia in Colombo on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Led by Salman Ali Agha, Pakistan produced a dominant all-round show to complete the Super 8 line-up.
Sahibzada Farhan struck his maiden T20 International century, remaining unbeaten on 100 from 58 balls, to power Pakistan to 199 for 3 in 20 overs. Shadab Khan chipped in with 36 from 22 balls and shared an 81-run stand off 40 deliveries for the fourth wicket. In reply, Namibia were bowled out for 97 in 17.3 overs. Mystery spinner Usman Tariq claimed four wickets, while Shadab returned figures of 3 for 19 in his four overs.
With the win, Pakistan joined India from Group A in the Super 8s. From Group B, Zimbabwe progressed along with co-hosts Sri Lanka, while West Indies and England qualified from Group C. South Africa and New Zealand advanced from Group D, with Australia missing out.

The eight teams have been split into two groups of four. Each side will play three matches in the Super 8 stage. The top two teams from each group will move into the semi-finals. A total of 12 Super 8 matches will be played from February 21 to March 1 across five venues in India and two in Sri Lanka.

New Zealand, led by Mitchell Santner, will face Pakistan in the opening Super 8 match on Saturday in Colombo. Pakistan, Sri Lanka, England and New Zealand will play all their Super 8 matches in Sri Lanka. India’s Super 8 fixtures are scheduled in Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kolkata.

The first semifinal will be held on March 4 and the second on March 5. The final is set for March 8. If Pakistan reach the semifinals, the scheduled match at Eden Gardens will be shifted to Colombo. If Pakistan make the final, the title clash will also be played in Colombo instead of Ahmedabad. If India and Pakistan meet in the semifinals, the match will take place in Colombo. If India face any other team, the second semifinal will be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
