West Indies Cricket Team vs Zimbabwe National Cricket Team Standings: West Indies Moved to the top of Super 8 Group 1 in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 after a commanding 107-run victory over Zimbabwe at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday, February  23, 2026. The dominant win handed West Indies two points and a net run rate of 5.350, pushing them above South Africa in the standings. South Africa also have two points from one match but sit second with a net run rate of 3.800 following their opening win over India.

India and Zimbabwe are yet to open their accounts in the Super 8 stage. India’s 76-run defeat to South Africa left it with a net run rate of minus 3.800, while Zimbabwe’s heavy loss to West Indies dropped its net run rate to minus 5.350.

With one match completed each in Group 1, West Indies lead the table with one win, followed closely by South Africa. India and Zimbabwe occupy the third and fourth positions, respectively, and will look to bounce back in their next fixtures to stay alive in the race for the semifinals.

The group will see crucial action on Feb. 26 when South Africa face West Indies in Ahmedabad. Later the same day, India will take on Zimbabwe in Chennai. The final round of Group 1 matches will be played on March 1 with Zimbabwe set to face South Africa in Delhi and India to meet West Indies in Kolkata.

In Super 8 Group 2, England made a winning start and lead the standings with two points and a net run rate of plus 2.550. New Zealand and Pakistan shared points after their match ended without a result, giving both teams one point each and net run rates of 0.000. Sri Lanka, after losing its opening match, are fourth with a net run rate of minus 2.550.
