The Indian cricket team unveiled its new jersey for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on Monday, much to the delight of fans who had been eagerly awaiting its release.
Designed by Adidas, the jersey marks a departure from the team's regular T20I kit, featuring a prominent display of saffron and blue. The sleeves are predominantly saffron, while the rest of the jersey boasts the traditional blue color. A striking saffron lining adorns the sides, adding a unique touch to the design.
The launch video, filmed at the picturesque HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, features Indian skipper Rohit Sharma alongside star players Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav sporting the new jersey.
This development comes after the announcement of India's preliminary 15-member squad for the World Cup, which itself ignited debates and discussions regarding the final playing eleven and player selections.
Rohit Sharma will captain the team, with Hardik Pandya as his vice-captain.
