United States National Cricket Team: The United States has announced its 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, co-hosted by Sri Lanka and India. The squad will be led by Monank Patel, with Jessy Singh named vice-captain. This will be the UAS’s second appearance at the tournament after a memorable debut in 2024, which included a historic win over Pakistan and a run to the Super 8 stage.
The team has been training in Sri Lanka to adapt to subcontinental conditions. Head Coach Pubudu Dassanayake praised the team’s preparation, saying, “Our training in Sri Lanka pushed this team to new heights. The World Cup squad is strong, balanced, and ready to dominate in every department.”
Ten players from the 2024 World Cup squad return, while five new players add depth and talent. Shubham Ranjane is set to make his T20I debut, while Mohammad Mohsin and Shehan Jayasuriya will make their international debuts for the USA
