The former  Indian captain has been in fine form, scoring six fifties or more in his last seven ODIs. He had two centuries and a fifty in the South Africa series in December, followed by a century and fifty for Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, and an unbeaten 77 against Australia in Sydney.
