A right-arm pacer, Hinge was signed by SRH at his base price of Rs 30 lakh. He represents Vidarbha in domestic cricket and made his senior debut across formats during the 2024-25 season.

Hinge announced himself on the big stage with a sensational opening spell, claiming three wickets in his very first over in the IPL. He dismissed Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan-dre Pretorius — all for ducks. In doing so, Hinge became the first bowler in IPL history to take three wickets in the opening over of a match.

In his brief domestic career so far, Hinge has featured in 10 first-class matches, taking 27 wickets at an average of 26.66. In List A cricket, he has picked up five wickets in six games, while he had played just one T20 prior to his IPL debut, claiming one wicket.

The young pacer has also been honing his skills at the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai since 2022 and attended a 15-day training camp in Brisbane in 2024.
