Former Team India cricketer Chetan Chauhan passed away on August 16, 2020.

Former India Test player Vinod Kambli joined the Lok Bharati party after retiring from international cricket. In 2009, Kambli lost the assembly elections to Vikhroli in Mumbai. Kambli also quit politics after this. Vinod Kambli is the fastest Indian to complete 1000 Test runs. Vinod Kambli had completed 1,000 Test runs in just 12 innings.

Manoj Prabhakar tried his luck in politics after his separation from cricket. However, they did not succeed in this. Manoj was accused of fixing during his cricket career.

Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has recently stepped onto the political pitch. Harbhajan has joined the Aam Aadmi Party and is a Rajya Sabha MP.
