Kings XI Punjab team arrived in the United Arab Emirates(UAE) for the upcoming IPL 2020 tournament.

The players, who were already tested multiple times before departure, will now undergo a six-day isolation period and COVID-19 tests.

If they clear all the tests, they will be eligible to enter the tournament’s bio-bubble and start training.

Kings XI Punjab team will be staying at Dubai's Sofitel The Palm, the team led by K.L Rahul has some of the biggest names in their roster this year including Glen Maxwell.

KXIP will be the neighbors of Virat Kohli’s RCB. KL Rahul led team will stay at Sofitel The Palm, Dubai which is just 500 meters from where RCB is staying in Palm Jumeirah.

Sofitel The Palm, a private beach at the edge of the Palm Jumeirah, this upscale spa resort is 2 km from the nearest monorail station, 13 km from the Emirates Golf Club and 16 km from the Mall of the Emirates.

The 13th edition of the IPL will be played for 53 days, from September 19 to November 10, across three venues -- Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Dubai.

Featuring balconies or terraces with views, the refined rooms provide free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and Bose audio systems. Room service is available. Suites and apartments add kitchens; some include butler service and private club access with villas having pools.

This year, the team is being led by KL Rahul, with Anil Kumble donning the hat of head coach. The franchise also roped in likes of Jonty Rhodes, Wasim Jaffer, Charl Langeveldt and others as the coaching staff headed by Mike Hesson quit after IPL 2019.
