Former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni marked his cricketing return from sabbatical post the 2019 ICC World Cup with the Indian Premier League (IPL) in UAE. Now, the iconic cricketer is set to send vegetables from his farmhouse in Ranchi to Dubai, having swapped the cricketing hat with that of a farmer.

Dhoni has been investing in various ventures outside of cricket for the past several years. Having called time on his career as a cricketer on August 15 last year, the 39-year-old is putting most of his time and effort into activities like farming.

As per a report in India Today, the consignment of vegetables that is to be sent from Dhoni's farmhouse to Dubai is in the final stages. The Agriculture Department of Jharkhand has taken the responsibility of sending the produce to UAE from Ranchi.

The agency to sell the vegetables in UAE has also been identified. All season Farm Fresh agency has been selected for the task. The agency will be sending vegetables to the Gulf Countries.

Dhoni's farmhouse is located at Ring Road in Sembo village in Ranchi

Among the vegetables that are being produced are: Strawberries, cabbage, tomatoes, broccoli, peas, hock and papaya.

The land on which the vegetables are grown is spread over 10 acres. The entire farmhouse has an area of about 43 acres.

In fact, in Ranchi itself, the cabbage, tomatoes and peas that are grown in Dhoni's farmhouse are in huge demand.
