Pakistan's star bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi, has tied the knot today. The Pakistan team recently played a series against England at home and against New Zealand. However, due to injury, Shaheen Afridi was unable to participate in the series.

Shaheen today officially became the son-in-law of former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi. Shahid Afridi tied the knot with former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi's daughter, Ansha Afridi.

The wedding took place at a mosque in Karachi, a major city in Pakistan. Ansha is Afridi's eldest daughter. Shaheen's wife, Ansha, has often come out in front of the world to watch the match.

Shaheen had said in an interview with Geo News that he wanted to marry Shahid Afridi's daughter which has now been fulfilled. Shaheen had to wait a long time to marry Ansh. In fact the relationship was discussed between the two families two years ago.

Shahid Afridi had informed about the same and said, "My daughter Ansha and 22-year-old fast bowler Shaheen Afridi are going to get married according to our tradition."

The ceremony will be held in Karachi. Shaheen will be participating in the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League after the wedding. He is a part of the Lahore Qalandar team in the PSL.
