Australia has been dominant in ICC tournaments. The men's team has won 5 ODI World Cups, 1 Twenty20 World Cup, 2 Champions Trophy and the World Test Championship Shield, while the women's team has won 6 ODI World Cups and 6 Twenty20 World Cups.

Australia on Sunday won the final of the World Test Championship in a great team performance. They scored a resounding victory over the Indian team by 209 runs and created history. Australia put in a champion performance to clinch the only silverware which was missing from their trophy cabinet.

Australia didn't get off to a good start in the second innings either, but they declared the innings at 270 for 8 and set India a target of 444 runs. Chasing the target, Virat and Ajinkya put on a partnership of 86 runs to salvage the innings, but the Aussie bowlers ensured that India don't put in a fight.

They became the first team to win all six ICC tournaments. Also, Australia is the first country to win all the senior level ICC tournaments. Meanwhile, after Australia's win at the Oval the likes of David Warner, Steve Smith joined a unique club.

Smith, Warner, Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood are members of the 2015 ODI World Cup, 2021 Twenty20 World Cup and 2023 WTC Final winning teams. These are the five players who have lifted ICC's three major trophies.
