India beat Australia in Tests, ODIs and Twenty20s

Earlier this year, Team India defeated Australia 2-1 in the four-match Test series and booked their place in the finals of the World Test Championship for the second time in a row. Apart from this, Team India also defeated Australia in the One Day and Twenty20 series. New captain Suryakumar Yadav led India in the five-match Twenty20 series against Australia and Team India won the series 4–1.

After the World Cup, the selectors of Team India announced the Indian squad for the tour of South Africa. Three captains of three formats and three different teams were selected. The peculiarity of this selection is that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who have ruled Indian and world cricket for the past 15-16 years, have not been included in the ODI and T20 squads. In fact, BCCI said that Rohit and Virat have withdrawn from it.
