The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday, March 10, issued a statement after a viral video which show a student scanning a QR code printed on the CBSE Mathematics exam paper, which appeared to be redirected to a YouTube music video.
CBSE board to avoid "case of suspected security breach," and stated that seveal featurs provided on the Question Papers to help student to verify the genuineness of the question paper. "It appears that this has raised concerns about the veracity of the question papers amongst concerned students and their parents," said the board.
However, CBSE confirmed that there is no manipulation in the question papers and they are genuine. "The security of the question papers remains uncompromised." While the board said that the matter of the QR code scanning issue will be thoroughly investigated and such mistakes will not be repeated in the furture as it's highly concerning.

Meanwhile, in a viral clip, it can be seen a QR code printed on the Mathematics question paper redirects to a music YouTube video of Rick Astley after scanning the code. A girl student can be seen demonstrating in the viral video what she found.
“My paper did not go well. But I found something interesting,” the student said. “I’m scanning the QR code on the question paper. Let’s see where it takes us.”
Further in the video, the scan redirects to a YouTube video of Rick Astley’s song, famously associated with the internet prank known as “Rickrolling.”
