Students of Classes 10 and 12 will now receive their marksheet and certificate as a single combined document, simplifying the entire process. Additionally, provisions have been introduced to allow corrections in photographs, making the system more flexible and student-friendly. This decision has been taken by the State Examination Board to reduce the burden of handling multiple documents. From this academic year onward, the State Board of Maharashtra will issue marks and certification details in one consolidated format, eliminating the need to manage separate papers. As a result, the document verification process during college admissions will become smoother and more efficient, with all essential information available in one place.

Students will no longer have to wait separately for their certificates after the declaration of results. All necessary details will now be accessible immediately in a single document. Furthermore, the sequence and spelling of students’ names will be aligned with their Aadhaar records to ensure accuracy and consistency. The information will also be presented in a clearer and more structured format, reducing confusion. This initiative aims to streamline administrative procedures and provide students with a more convenient experience, ensuring that important academic records are delivered promptly and with improved clarity right after the examination results are announced.

The new document will include the student’s photograph along with a QR code, which will help curb the circulation of fake documents and enhance authenticity. Students will also be given the option to correct errors in their photograph or name through the official board website under the photo correction section. This reform is expected to speed up document verification during admissions, lower the risk of losing important papers, and make online verification easier through the QR code. It will also simplify job application processes in both government and private sectors, enable easy storage and sharing of digital copies, and improve document management in schools and colleges, making records more secure, accessible, and reliable.
