Aamir Khan congratulates Babita Phogat on her wedding

Babita Phogat recently tied the knot with Vivek Suhag in a traditional ceremony and Aamir Khan who essayed the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat in Dangal congratulated the wrestler turned politician on her special day.

Babita Phogat recently tied the knot with Vivek Suhag in a traditional ceremony and Aamir Khan who essayed the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat in Dangal congratulated the wrestler turned politician on her special day. Aamir posted a sweet message on his official Twitter handle saying, "Dear @BabitaPhogat, wishing you and @SuhagVivek a happy, healthy and fulfilling marriage together. Love. a."

Meanwhile, Babita took an extra 'phera' during the wedding rituals instead of the customary seven. Reason? to support the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign. The Phogat sisters have earned a near-cult status after the release of Aamir Khan's Dangal which revolved around the life and time of Phogat sisters. On the work front, Aamir will next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on Christmas 2020. The movie stars Khan as the titular character and Kareena Kapoor as his love interest.
