Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak which is just a few days away from its much awaited release will have a star-studded premiere on January 8 in Mumbai. Meanwhile, the acid attack survivors who have a part in the film will also be part of the same. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, acid attack survivors Jeetu Sharma, Ritu Saini, Bala Prajapati and Kunti Soni will be part of the premiere with the other stars. It is indeed a proud moment for each of the girls to see themselves on the big screen.

The movie directed by Meghna Gulzar is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film which is slated to release on 10th January marks the debut of Deepika as a producer. The trailer of the film was met with positive response from all quarters. The films also stars actor Vikrant Massey in a crucial role. Ahead of the film's release the team is currently busy promoting the film and Deepika who celebrated her 34th birthday on January 5 travelled to Lucknow to celebrate her birthday with acid attack survivors along with Meghna Gulzar.
