Kartik Aaryan is all set to star in an epic love story produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures which will be helmed by Sameer Vidhwans. As per a Pinkvilla report, Sajid has been discussing a potential collaboration with Aaryan for quite some time now. The love story is said to feature Kartik in a never seen before space. The film is currently in the pre-production stage.The yet-to-be-titled film will mark the National-Award-winning director Sameer’s debut venture in Bollyood.
The film will be bankrolled by Sajid under his banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures. Sajid Nadiadwala and Sameeer Vidhwan’s won a national award for their respective feature films – Chhichhore and Anandi Gopal - in the same year. Kartik was recently ousted from Karan Johar’s film, Dostana 2. Karan Johar’s Dharma Production issued a statement that they will be recasting for Dostana 2. The makers haven’t confirmed the new cast of the film. “Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain dignified silence- we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D’Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon, the statement read. Kartik Aaryan will be seen next in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kiara Advani, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav. Kartik also has Ram Madhvani’s Dhamaka in the pipeline.
