After recovering from heart attack, Remo D’Souza begins 2021 on a spiritual note

Celebrity choreographer and filmmaker Remo D'souza  who is recovering from a heart ailment welcomed 2021 in a prayerful manner. The Race 3 director,  paid a visit to Mount Mary Church in Bandra over the weekend. Remo was snapped standing at the gate of the gloriously lit church. After recently suffering from a heart attack and spending days at the hospital getting treatment and recovering from the health crisis, Remo spoke his mind through an Instagram post, stressing on the importance of gratitude and love in life. Remo started the new year by reflecting upon the lessons he has learnt through his recent experience and thanked the doctors who attended to him. He also shared a picture from the hospital with the medical staff, besides one with his family.

The choreographer-cum-filmmaker had also revealed that Salman Khan helmed him much during his hospitalization. Speaking to Bombay Times,  Remo had shared, “My wife and Salman are very close. As soon as I was rushed to the hospital, Lizelle called him. And through the six days that I was in the hospital, he saw to it that I was taken good care of. He was also personally talking to the doctors.” Last month, D'Souza was rushed to hospital after suffering cardiac problems. He underwent angioplasty. Remo rose to fame as a choreographer, before making his transition into filmmaking with 'F.A.L.T.U' in 2011. He went on to helm 'ABCD: Any Body Can Dance' (2013), 'ABCD 2' (2015) and 'Race 3' (2018). His last directorial 'Street Dancer 3D' starring Varun Dhawan, Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor, released in 2020.
