NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad has claimed that Ajay Devgn's 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' has certain flaws which needs to be rectified immediately or he will take matters in his own hand. According to hm, the director has taken cinematic liberty too far and the errors needs to be corrected. He further added that he would not mind if they consider this as threat.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is supporting the release of Tanhaji, a film based on the life of a legendary military leader in the Maratha empire -- Tanaji Malusare. The political party, known for opposing the release of Hindi films dubbed in Marathi, approved the Om Raut directorial saying the film “should be dubbed in as many languages as possible.”

The epic war drama which is Ajay's 100th film features Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Neha Sharma, Jagapathi Babu and Pankaj Tripathi in lead roles. The trailer of the film, garnered positive response from fans who have predicted the film to be a 'blockbuster.' The movie is all set to hit the theatres on January 10, 2020.
