Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has found himself in trouble after he mistakenly liked a video that allegedly mocked the attack on the protest.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has found himself in trouble after he mistakenly liked a video that allegedly mocked the brutal attack on Jamia Millia students. A screengrab of the actor's 'Like' on the post, went viral which angered netizens as they slammed the Khiladi of Bollywood. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Akshay was quick to issue a clarification about his stance on the issue. 

Akshay in a statement said, “Regarding the ‘like’ on the tweet of Jamia Milia students, it was by mistake. I was scrolling and accidentally it must have been pressed and when I realised I immediately unliked it as In no way do I support such acts,” Akshay tweeted.The brutality of the police has angered a lot of Bollywood celebs who expressed their displeasure on the police entering the campus and lathicharge the students and staff. Several parts of India have witnessed violent protests ever since the Citizenship (Amendment)Bill was passed in the Parliament last week.
