After 14 years, Bollywood’s popular actor-director duo Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are reuniting for Bhooth Bangla, creating huge excitement among fans. The two are known for giving Hindi cinema some of its most loved comedy films. This time, they are coming back with a horror-comedy that promises both scares and laughter. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, the film is expected to bring back their signature humour, perfect comic timing, and the kind of clean, family entertainment that made their earlier films so popular.

The sets of Bhooth Bangla recently turned into a mini cricket ground as Akshay Kumar brought his infectious energy off-camera. In a fun behind-the-scenes video, the superstar was seen playing cricket with none other than Shikhar Dhawan, leaving the crew cheering like it was a stadium match. What started as a casual game quickly turned into a full-on cricket fever moment on set, with laughter and team spirit taking over between shots.

The makers recently unveiled the film’s first track, “Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge,” and it has taken the internet by storm ever since its release. The song is currently trending across platforms, with fans loving its vibrant vibe. Akshay Kumar’s infectious energy, sharp comic timing, and electrifying dance moves have brought back a wave of nostalgia, reminding audiences of his classic entertainers.

Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with Cape of Good Films, presents Bhooth Bangla starring Akshay Kumar, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav. Directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor, the film releases in theatres on 10th April, 2026.
