Holi is finally here. The festival of colours is all about celebrating good over evil, enjoying with your loved ones and spreading joy in the world. As people usually engage in playing with colours every year, this year the festival will have restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, people are still having low-key celebrations in their homes to keep their spirits up. A number of celebs also posted videos and photos of celebrating Holi with their families.
Superstar Akshay Kumar shared a a rare picture of of daughter Nitara and himself smeared in Holi colours. The actor wrote, No bigger joy than festivities with those who are a part of you. The Atrangi Re star also advised fans to remain indoors amidst the rising COVOD-19 cases in the country. "Do me a favour let’s not play Holi! Celebrate at home, for your safety and the safety of your loved ones Folded hands Wishing you all a very Happy Holi." wrote the Atrangi Re star. On the other hand, away from home, Akshay's Aitraaz co-star Priyanka Chopra shared a lovely picture with her husband Nick Jonas and her in-laws dressed in white and smeared in Holi colours. The actress, who has been shooting in London for her web series Citadel, wrote, "Holi, the festival of colours is one of my favourites...Hope we can all celebrate it with our loved ones, but in our HOMES! #HappyHoli everyone."
