Chhaava has been one of the most successful films of Bollywood in 2025. The story depicts the life journey of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. In the movie, Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Sambhaji Maharaj, and he is getting praised for his acting and performance; similarly, Akshaye Khanna has been gaining praise for his portrayal of Aurangzeb.

Even after giving power-packed performances, Akshaye has always maintained a low profile, staying away from parties, events, and award ceremonies, and is known for his detachment from fame and popularity. In a recent interview, he made a bold statement about his stance on fame in the industry.

Akshaye expressed that if he were ever pressured to change his nature to fit the mold of constantly being in the news or involved in controversies, he would prefer to leave the industry altogether. He emphasized, "I would rather quit the industry than change who I am just to stay relevant." This statement highlights his commitment to remaining true to himself, even at the cost of popularity.

Throughout his career, Akshaye has earned praise for his diverse roles in films such as Dil Chahta Hai, Gandhi My Father, Hulchul, Hungama, and Drishyam 2. His portrayal of Aurangzeb in Chhaava is currently one of his most talked-about performances.
