Actress Alia Bhatt is very close to her sister Shaheen Bhatt and on the launch of her sister's book in Mumbai the actress broke down the moment she spoke about her younger sibling. Alia has often spoken about how she failed to understand the depth of her sister's battle with depression and it was only after reading the book that she understood struggle Shaheen had been through since the past many years. The actress earlier, urged her social media followers on Twitter to get themselves a copy of Shaheen's book.

 

Alia on the occasion of her sister's birthday on her instagram shared two adorable throwback photos with a heartfelt message. Meanwhile, Bollywood celebs including Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone praised the young author on the release of her book. Shaheen in her note to Arjun wrote, " Dearest Arjun, You are a kind, gentle and wise soul- In all our interactions I’m always left with a feeling of positivism. Through all ups and downs you always spread light. It’s what I aspire to become as well. My first book is a small attempt at that. I hope you like it.”
