Alia Bhatt to star opposite Ram Charan in a big budget 3D film after RRR?

Ram Charan much-anticipated film with acclaimed-filmmaker Shankar which is likely to be shot in 3D might star Alia Bhatt in the lead as per reports. However, there is no official word regarding the same yet. Speculations are rife that, Ram Charan recommended Alia Bhatt for his next big project with Indian 2 director Shankar. On February 12, popular Telugu producer Dil Raju announced that he is coming up with a pan-Indian film and will be collaborating with Shankar and Ram Charan for the project. There were also reports that the film will be a historical drama, which which might go on floors in early 2022.  Reportedly, there will be a lot of action sequences in the film and Shankar felt that audience would love to watch them in 3D.

On the other hand,  Alia Bhatt is set to make her Telugu debut opposite Ram Charan in SS Rajamouli's upcoming Pan-India project, RRR. Starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, the film is scheduled to release this year in October.  RRR, which also features Ajay Devgn,  is based on the lives of two legendary freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film is being made on a mammoth budget of over Rs 400 crore. It also stars  Samuthirakani and several others in important roles. Alia Bhatt will be seen in the role of Sita. Sharing the first look poster of the actress from the film, Ram Charan had mentioned Sita as "She adds meaning to Ramaraju's mission! Meet my #Sita, a woman of strong will and resolve."
