Alia Bhatt has revealed that she has launched her production house, which goes by the name of 'Eternal Sunshine Productions'. Now the Highway actress has announced her first collaboration with superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Taking to her social media handles, Alia announced her first ever production, 'Darlings' with Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma. The film is a dark comedy that will star Alia with Shefali Shah, Roshan Matthew and Vijay Varma. Sharing the video, Alia wrote, "This one's special! Announcing #Darlings, my first ever production under @eternalsunshineproduction, in association with my fav @iamsrk’s @redchilliesent! Starring the amazing @shefalishahofficial, @itsvijayvarma, @roshan.matthew Directed by @jasmeet_k_reen & produced by @gaurikhan, @_gauravverma."
Further, the video ended with a caption, "Yeh comedy thodi dark hai."The film will be the directorial debut of Jasmeet K Reen who is teaming up with producers Alia and Shah Rukh. The film is reportedly about a dynamic mother-daughter duo that will be essayed by Alia and Shefali. Alia Bhatt recently unveiled her fierce avatar from ‘Gangubai Kathiwadi’. The teaser of the film was launched on the occasion of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday. The film narrates the story of a girl from Kathiawad and is based on one of the chapters (Gangubai Kathiawadi) of Hussain Zaidi’s book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai. ‘Gangubai Kathiwadi’ will also feature Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on July 30 this year.
