Sadak 2 director and actress Alia Bhatt's father Mahesh Bhatt was summoned by the Mumbai in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput case. The filmmaker was spotted at the Santacruz station today to record a statement. In the pictures, the veteran filmmaker was spotted wearing a face shield and a mask as he stepped out of the police station and was making his way to the car. 

Till now, the Mumbai police have recorded statements of many Bollywood personalities including Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sanjana Sanghi, Rhea Chakraborty, casting director Shanoo Sharma, Mukesh Chhabra, Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films. Up next,  the CEO of Dharma Productions, will be recording his statement tomorrow. Minister Anil Deshmukh on Sunday said that film director Mahesh Bhatt and Karan Johar's manager will be called for the questioning. Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14th by suicide at his Mumbai residence.  Sushant’s demise has also opened a can of worms about B-town functioning with many stars openly claiming to have subjected to harrasment by industry bigwigs.
