Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are not getting engaged today and the couple is in Rajasthan with their families for a vacation, his uncle Randhir Kapoor has confirmed. There were media reports that the adorable couple is getting engaged in Rajasthan since the two stars were seen with their families in Jaipur.

Speaking to ABP News, Randhir Kapoor said that the news of Alia-Ranbir's engagement was just a rumor. ‘Nothing like that. There is no fact in this news. If Ranbir and Alia were going to have a engagement, wouldn't I and other people of our family be with them? Ranbir, Alia and Neetu have gone there to enjoy the holidays and bring in the new year,"said Randhir Kapoor.

In a recent interview Ranbir had revealed that had there not been a pandemic he would have got married to Alia this year. Ranbir said, "I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life."

Alia and Ranbir have been in a relationship for almost three years now and have acknowledged their relationship publicly.
