Legendry singer Asha Bhosle passed away at the age of 92 in Mumbai's Bridge candy hospital on Sunday April 12, 2026. Her sudden demise came as a huge shock for everyone. Asha Bhosle, the iconic singer of numerous songs for Amitabh Bachchan movies, including "Yeh Mera Dil" from Don and "Do Lafzon Ki Hai Dil Ki Kahani" from The Great Gambler, passed away on Saturday evening due to multi-organ failure following a cardiac arrest, after being admitted to the hospital for extreme exhaustion and a chest infection. Her funeral will be held at the Shivaji Park crematorium in Dadar around 4 pm, with many celebrities expected to pay their respects.
