Mumbai, March 19 Gaurav Khanna, known for his role in the popular TV show "Anupamaa," recently opened up about the financial struggles he faced when he first moved to Mumbai.

In the latest episode of "Celebrity MasterChef", the actor revealed the challenges of making ends meet in the early days of his career, shedding light on the determination and resilience required to navigate the hardships before finding success in the entertainment industry. Gaurav recalled his struggling days during a new challenge, wherein the contestants were asked to create a dish featuring four key elements, but with a twist—they can only use one vessel.

For Gaurav, this challenge was more than just about cooking – it's a walk down memory lane. As he selects a deep pan, nostalgia floods in, taking him back to his early days in Mumbai. He shared, “Today we got only one pot, and I remember the old days when I was new to Mumbai. I didn’t have a lot of money. I used to have a pan just like this, and I made food in that one pan, talking to my mom on call. I got the same feeling today.”

The ‘Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam’ actor also admitted, “I used to make horrible food in those days.” Will his dish reflect the experience he has gained over the years, or will the one-pot twist prove to be too difficult?”

Talking about the intense new Black Apron Challenge on the cooking reality show, just as the contestants start to settle in, the competition takes an exhilarating twist! At the halfway point, the judges reveal a shocking surprise—contestants must swap their dishes with the person next to them.

Judged by Chef Kunal Kapoor, Chef Ranveer Brar, and Farah Khan, “Celebrity MasterChef” airs from Monday to Friday on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
