The fifth and final chapter of Ekaki was initially scheduled to be released on January 30, but plans changed after an unexpected setback. Ashish took to social media to apologise to fans, explaining that a hard drive failure had caused nearly 20% of the VFX footage to be lost. The issue erased almost six months of the team’s hard work, forcing them to postpone the episode despite several exciting surprises being planned. He assured viewers that the team would rebuild and deliver an episode worth the wait.
On high public demand, after a brief hiatus, Ashish Chanchlani has finally unveiled the teaser for the fifth and final chapter of Ekaki, along with its official release date. The much-awaited finale is set to premiere on February 25. Ashish himself took to the comments section to reveal that the trailer serves as a heartfelt tribute to the iconic film Koi... Mil Gaya, the movie that made many of our childhoods, but it is a darker version.
