The makers of Atrangi Re have released the motion poster of the film announcing the release date as 14th February 2021. Details of the film has been kept a close guarded secret but according to reports Akshay will be seen in a cameo role. In all likelyhood Sara and Dhanush will be the two main protagonist in the film. The first look from the film was released by Dhanush on Twitter. 

Meanwhile, Sara also took to Instagram to share an adorable picture of her male co-stars Akshay and Dhanush. She expressed her excitement for the same and stated that she cannot believe her luck and is blessed to be working with Aanand L Rai and AR Rahman.  Produced by Bhushan Kumar the script is penned by Himanshu Sharma and the shooting is expected to commence by March 1st 2020.
