Hours after,  Karan Johar’s production Dharma announced its collaboration with talent management company Cornerstone owned by Sohail Khan’s brother-in-law, gossip mills started buzzing with the news that, all is not well between Karan Johar and renowned celebrity manager Reshma Shetty. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, KJo and Reshma, who have been thick and close buddies, have reportedly parted ways.As per the same report, Karan Johar has decided to end the contracts of his protégés with Reshma Shetty’s talent company and move on to join hands with Cornerstone. A source close to them revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “It’s difficult to say what went wrong. But it seems that the fallout has been ugly. Karan has decided to ensure that his protégés end the contract with Reshma’s company Matrix and shift to another talent management company, Cornerstone.” 

Cornerstone recently came into the limelight after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death as it managed the late star and his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. For those who don’t know, Reshma Shetty’s Matrix, at present handles some of the most prominent celebs and KJo’s close buddies like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, Shashank Khaitan and Manish Malhotra. In his memoir 'An Unsuitable Boy', Karan Johar has penned about Reshma. He has written how deeply he feels connected to her. He wrote in his memoir, “I take her advice on professional decisions very seriously. I’m very dependent on her take on work and people. I’ve built a bond with her over the years and it’s very solid.” KJo has even mentioned about Reshma that just like him even she’s unmarried and very close to her own mother. Yesterday,  Karan Johar announced his latest venture -- a talent management, with Dharma Cornerstone Agency (DCA). Johar has launched DCA in partnership with Bunty Sajdeh-owned talent management agency, Cornerstone. Karan took to his social media handles to share an official statement and the Dharma Cornerstone Agency logo.
