Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 30 : Actor Akshay Kumar has just given fans a good laugh with a hilarious birthday message for his Bhooth Bangla director, Priyadarshan.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, Akshay posted a video featuring himself and his 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' co-star Vidya Balan. The upcoming horror-comedy marks Priyadarshan's reunion with Akshay Kumar after 14 years. The director-actor duo has delivered several cult favourites over the years, including 'Phir Hera Pheri,' 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa,' and 'Bhagam Bhag.' The film's shooting wrapped up in May last year.

'Bhooth Bangla' features Akshay Kumar alongside Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, Asrani, and Wamiqa Gabbi.

The film is being presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with Cape of Good Films. It is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor.

'Bhooth Bangla' is slated to hit theatres on May 15, 2026.

Apart from 'Bhooth Bangla, Akshay has multiple films lined up, including Welcome 3, Haiwaan and Hera Pheri 3. Last month, Akshay shared a special teaser of Welcome 3, offering a glimpse of the star-studded cast of the film and their dramatic entry to the tune of a Christmas jingle.
