Bhumi Pednekar will be seen alongside Akshay Kumar in the upcoming film Raksha Bandhan. A directorial venture of Aanand L Rai, Akshay took to social media to welcome Bhumi to the team. He shared a delightful picture featuring them with director Aanand. Bhumi also expressed her happiness in joining the film on her Instagram page. Akshay and Bhumi have starred together earlier in Toilet-Ek Prem Katha. Bhumi Pednekar also shared the same picture on Instagram and called Akshay Kumar and Aanand L Rai creative powerhouses. “A very special film & a very special reunion. In August 2020, Akshay Kumar had announced the film Raksha Bandhan with a poster featuring him. Meanwhile, this is Akshay's second project with Aanand L Rai. He wrapped up the filmmaker's next Atrangi Re earlier this year. The film also stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. Announced last year on the occasion of the Raksha Bandhan festival, the movie revolves around the brother-sister bond.
