Daldal, one of the most-awaited psychological crime thrillers, brings together a substantial cast including Bhumi Satish Pednekkar, Samara Tijori and Aditya Rawal in a gritty plot that revolves around gruesome murders, drugs and a cat-and-mouse chase. Recently, Bhumi Pednekkar opened up about working with her co-stars, Samara and Aditya, revealing that their approach and conduct inspired her.
Bhumi said, “Samara Tijori will be one of the finest actors of this generation. I have never been inspired by 2 people that I’ve worked with. I have worked with some great actors but Samara and Aditya are phenomenal and this is just a start of a very very thriving career of the gonna have. We can do everything but where are the performers? You need actors like them to portray such characters”.
She further added, “Whatever scenes I have with them, I have observed them, the way they conduct themselves, and the way they approach the scene,” shared Bhumi. In Daldal, Bhumi Pednekkar raises the stakes as a fierce DCP Rita Ferreira, who is on the quest of getting her hands on a cold-blooded serial killer, Aditya Rawal. On January 21, the makers of Daldal treated audiences with a gritty and gory trailer, unveiling a series of brutal, meticulously orchestrated murders that expose the chilling and twisted psyche of a serial killer. Based on Vish Dhamija's bestselling book Bhendi Bazaar, the psychological crime thriller is directed by Amrit Raj Gupta and produced by Vikram Malhotra and Suresh Triveni and is an Abundantia Entertainment production. Daldal is set to premiere on Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide on January 30 2026.
