In a recently aired episode, a discussion about marriage took place among the contestants in the Bigg Boss house. While advising Karan Sonawane about marriage, Raqesh Bapat commented on his ex-wife.
Raqesh told Karan, "If you want to get married, do it now, take this leap in life. You should definitely taste the 'marriage laddoo' at least once." Karan then asked Raqesh how he chose his partner. To this, Raqesh replied, "I married my friend. I met my partner while I was working. We were working on the same show. We became very good friends and then decided to get married. Even after separating, we are still good friends. I always stand by her, and she always stands by me. She hasn't remarried, and neither have I."

Raqesh was married to actress Ridhi Dogra. They met on the sets of the serial 'Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak'. They started their new life together by getting married in 2011. However, after 8 years of marriage, they divorced in 2019. Meanwhile, Raqesh was in relationship with Shamita Shetty for few months. They met during Bigg boss OTT and then fell in love. However after show finished they eventually parted their ways.
