Interestingly, the director started his career in the Hindi film industry with the musical 'Jhankaar Beats' which turned out to be a hit.
But he is mostly remembered for the path-breaking 'Kahaani', which in a way changed the scenario of suspense dramas in the Hindi movie industry. Sujoy has also directed a Netflix series titled 'Typewriter'. Typewriter
Typewriter is an horror drama television series, which stars Purab Kohli, Palomi Ghosh, Jisshu Sengupta and Sameer Kochhar in the lead roles. The series is set in Bardez township of Goa and revolves around a haunted house and a book that captures the imagination of a group of aspiring ghost hunters. Many critics called it a desi version of the series 'Stranger Things'.
Sujoy's next is also a remake work which also arouses curiosity among cinelovers.
